Encounter Kaikoura is a small passionate eco tourism business on the beautiful East coast of the South Island. We take pride in sharing Kaikoura and it's marine and pelagic life with our guests.
Our Customer Service Team are the face of our business; the team are responsible for handling all general enquiries and reservations for our Dolphin Encounter and Albatross Encounter tours, along with supporting our retail store, cafe and administration teams.
We would love to talk to applicants who are as comfortable with sales and service as they are with varied admin and data entry, who pride themselves on their both their accuracy and their awesome interpersonal skills.
Ideally, applicants will have experience in a similar role and a flexible and adaptable approach to team work. They will also be clear and confident communicators who can problem solve with empathy and patience.
We have a few positions coming available within our Customer Service Team:
We are open 7 days, daytime hours, with shifts rostered at weekends and on public holidays. Shifts vary, and are 6-10 hours in duration and fall between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm daily.
Applicants for these positions should be able to legally work in NZ and fluent in English.

- Summer seasonal fixed term contracts of approximately 7 months, subject to business demand, from Sept, Oct or Nov 2023 through until May 2024
